Emily co-founded Stem Media in 2010 and has worked as a writer and reporter for clients including Yahoo 7! Finance, Kochie’s Business Builders, Intrepid Travel, Monocle for Bloomberg, University of Sydney, Macquarie Digital, Onesteel, BlueChilli and many more.  Emily has produced all the pieces created by Stem Media including several full-length documentaries and TV shows including reality-style River Pitch which aired on Your Money in 2019. She has strong experience in interviewing on camera and has hosted the Macquarie Digital coverage of the Macquarie Securities Conference in Sydney. Emily is also an accomplished editor and has a talent for creating news packages, promo reels and marketing video. Her strengths lie in understanding a clients needs and getting the best out of on-camera talent.

During her time at the Sky New Business Channel she moved from producing to programs producing and reporting on camera. She was part of the Logie Award nominated team for their coverage of the Global Financial Crisis. She also currently freelances as a reporter with the ABC’s Business Today, Lateline Business program and ABC News 24.

Stuart has 20 years experience in the media industry having held positions as audio director, technical director and as a senior studio director of Sky News Australia.

Stuart co-founded Stem Media in 2010 and has since worked across all areas of the business. He is an accomplished cameraman and editor. His shooting credits include a documentary of an around Australia motorbike ride for the Steven Walter Foundation, travel footage for Intrepid Travel, news pieces for Monocle for Bloomberg TV, Devil Ark documentary (aired 2013 Ch9 nationally), real stories for Generation One, various videos for the University of Sydney, full length documentary for the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation to be aired on ABC TV along with many others.

Stuart has a great eye for the perfect shot and all the technical know-how to put together both long and short form pieces. He is passionate about creating the right look for a client.

In 2013 Stuart was appointed as consulting project manager with Australian News Channel to implement a MOSART automated control room system across ANC’s 4 platforms. This involved working directly with the CEO of ANC, Sony Australia and representatives from MOSART media lab in Norway. As part of this consultation Stuart visited television stations Global in Vancouver, BC, Canada and Sky Sports in Munich, Germany.

Stuart has also consulted to large media organisations such as News Corp Australia and Fairfax Media on their transition from traditional newspaper/magazine based media to online video creation and live video production.

His achievements as a director include the Victorian Bushfire “Black Saturday” coverage, Sky News ‘07 Election Night coverage and Astra Award Winning APEC 2007 coverage amongst many other major events. Stuart was also the supervising director to the Sky News Business Channel shortly after its launch in 2008. He has also directed live streams of Splendour in the Grass, IBM Corporate, BT Financial, Stereosonic and ABC Splash TV.
